Jeff Nemeth is the owner and your guide for Lower Columbia Fishing Company. As a lifelong student of angling, Jeff has spent more than twenty years pursuing salmon, steelhead, sturgeon and trout from all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond. He’s spent the last 12 years living in Longview, WA and fishing the waters of the Columbia River and its tributaries for fall and spring salmon, winter and summer steelhead and sturgeon and possesses a true “locals” knowledge of these fisheries. Jeff is a true fisherman, well versed in all aspects of angling. He gets just as much enjoyment from casting flies to 12” trout as he does from pulling plugs for steelhead. More importantly, Jeff is truly happy in guiding other people into fish. Fishing is his life’s passion and you’ll see this from the moment that you meet him. Jeff is laid back and friendly and not at all overbearing. He’s very respectful of his clients, the fisheries and other anglers on the water. Behind the scenes, Jeff works hard to take care of all the details in preparation for your day of fishing and will do everything he can to ensure that you have a memorable day on the river. Jeff will always answer your questions and explain the techniques he’s used to become a successful salmon, steelhead, sturgeon and trout fisherman. Jeff is a fully licensed and insured Washington and Oregon fishing guide. He holds a U.S. Coast Guard OUPV Master License and is CPR / First Aid certified.
